Our Leadership
David grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he gained hands-on experience working summers in construction with his father, a glazing contractor. This early exposure provided him with a practical understanding of construction principles.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia, David joined several larger firms, focusing on building science and structural engineering. He then spent seven years at a smaller firm, where his passion helped it grow into a medium-sized company, and he advanced to a senior management role along the way.
As a client-focused and well-rounded professional engineer, David is dedicated to assessing all feasible options for you. His technical expertise and construction experience allow him to implement industry-standard methods for reliable results while also crafting safe, bespoke solutions when needed.
With over 15 years in the engineering consulting industry, in 2023, David founded Imperial Engineering Inc. to provide the highest level of service to his clients without compromise.
